Walgreens Provides Exclusive Discount For Senior Citizens

DEERFIELD, Ill., Oct. 31, 2012 – Walgreens announces its first Senior Discount Day. On Friday, Nov. 2, all senior citizens ages 55 and older will receive 15 percent off eligible store items and 20 percent off eligible Walgreens, W Brand and Nice!™ products. Participants who simply reference the discount and present a valid ID, will receive the discount at any Walgreens and Duane Reade drugstore nationwide.

“We are pleased to provide this savings opportunity for some of our most loyal customers,” said Graham Atkinson, Walgreens chief marketing and customer experience officer. “The discount is a valuable way to help seniors get, stay and live well with Walgreens.”
