The First 130 Walgreens Customers at Stores Nationwide Will Receive a Redbox Promotional Code for a Free One-Day DVD Rental

DEERFIELD, Ill., November 23, 2011 - Walgreens (NYSE:WAG) (NASDAQ:WAG) will offer 1 million reasons to be thankful this Thanksgiving by rewarding the first 130 customers to make a purchase at more than 7,700 locations nationwide on Thanksgiving Day with a free one-day Redbox® DVD rental*. The free one-day DVD rental will be valid at all Walgreens Redbox locations from Thanksgiving Day through Dec. 24, 2011.
