Walgreens has provided more than 1.3 million COVID-19 vaccinations across long-term care facilities and other vulnerable populations identified as part of state and local jurisdiction distribution plans. The company completed the administration of COVID-19 vaccine first doses in skilled nursing facilities on Monday, Jan. 25 and will complete first dose vaccinations in assisted living and other long-term care facilities that selected Walgreens as their vaccine provider by mid-February. Walgreens has conducted or scheduled nearly 70,000 clinics across long-term care facilities.
