Effective May 24, Walgreens team members who are fully vaccinated will no longer be required to wear face covers while working, unless mandated by state and local regulations. Team members who are not fully vaccinated will continue wearing them while working. Those who chose to no longer wear a face cover must confirm to being fully vaccinated against COVID-19. The update applies to team members in all Walgreens locations including stores, distribution centers, facilities and support offices.
Walgreens supports any team member’s decision to continue wearing a face cover regardless of vaccination status. Team members will continue to wear face covers when administering vaccines or COVID-19 tests.
As previously announced, fully vaccinated customers no longer need to wear face coverings inside of our stores, unless state or local regulations require them. Customers who are not fully vaccinated are asked to continue wearing face covers. The health and safety of our customers and team members will continue to guide our decision process.
